out of my bed. They are sticking
to the sheets .

In the bathroom, the flower
in the Styrofoam cup
is wilting by the window

It used to be yellow.
So did the bananas.
Why am I running out of yellow things.

Why Science is Pivotal to My Writing (And Probably Yours)

A few days ago I came across a couple of sites I wish to share with you. The first of which is the most relevant to my blog, because it is a site that hosts several poems about carbon nanotubes. This, coincidentally, happens to be the same site that helped me survive writing my research paper in physics last year. And, even more coincidentally, is hosted by Michigan State University, where I spent a week last summer at nuclear physics camp. Wait, why I am not applying there again?

On Commitment, Procrastination, and Why Writing Sucks (but I do it anyway)

So I started this blog, see? This blog is important to me because it is an opportunity to get my work and my self out there into the world. Of course, this is not a new endeavor; and hopefully, this blog won’t join the ranks of many that have gone on to become unattended pages in the ether. With this post, I vow to keep this blog well fed and attended, and make sure that it does not grow skinny from starvation and then die. Besides, if I can’t even take care of a blog, how will I be able to care for a kitten? Or a child? But mostly a kitten because they have much more intrinsic value.
